A joint delegation from the Ahwazi National Council and the non-Persian people Front meets the British House of Lords

By the kind invitation from the Henry Jackson Society think tank institute in London, a joint delegation from the National Council of Ahwazi Revolutionary Forces, represented by Mr. Faisal Maramazi, the Council’s International Relations chair and Executive Director of the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights and Mr. Abdullah Syahoei the Secretary General of the Baluchistan Liberation Movement and a member of the leadership of the Non-Persian People Front and responsible for relation between the Front and the non-Persian peoples, as well as the delegation included, Mr. Araz Yurdseven, a leading member of the South Azerbaijan Independence Party, one of the factions of the Non-Persian Peoples Front, has meet with the Lord “David Howell” Chairman of the international Relations Committee of the British House of Lords in which the lord has gave speech related to the challenges facing the global communities, security and regional peace and address solutions to the challenges and causes.

The delegation also met with Lord Howell, explaining the Iranian state’s crimes against the non-Persian peoples and their legitimate demands, especially the right to self-determination. By insisting the right to self-determination as one of the most important factor for the stability and security and societal growth in the face of Iranian violence and extremism in all its forms.

Mr. Maramazi the Council’s International Relations committee chair has delivered an official written letter explaining the Iranian occupation regime violations against the Ahwazi people. He also stressed the need for a swift act to stop the executions against Ahwazi citizens accused by the Iranian occupation regime for the military parade attack that taken place in September 2018.

In his message that was delivered on Monday the 26thof September 2019, Mr. Maramazi mentioned the position of the Ahwazi people regarding the Iranian terrorist practices in the region and the need to stop and counter them through more pressure and stop the financing of terrorism practiced by the Iranian state and its militias in Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon.
